We are committed to taking a multi-faceted approach to create opportunities for undergraduate students to publish their work and gain early insight into the process of professional publication.

Opportunities in undergraduate research can be very beneficial for students’ professional development, advanced skill building and networking, which will ultimately help in their future careers. Not many undergraduate students have the chance to publish their work, so we believe it is an important experience to prepare for graduate programs and professional careers.

Joseph | Sulfur mustard (SM), a bifunctional alkylating agent, is a potent vesicant that induces painful blistering and inflammation in the skin. We investigated the inflammatory response and the role of type II macrophages in mammalian epidermis exposed to SM.
• Investigating Perceived Effects of Over-the-Counter Drug and Sleeping Pill Use via Internet SurveyFebruary 1, 2021
  Sanjana Davuluri, Pooja Bala | This study aims to determine the relationship between one’s confidence in the efficacy of over-the-counter cough and cold medications and their consumption of these medicines. In addition, it will also assess participants’ perceptions on the use of sleeping pills and how effective sleeping pills are as a solution to insomnia.
